“A goal is a dream with a finish line” Duke Ellington

October29

Last spring I was hanging with my friend Dondi at the Elbo Room and we were talking about all of the amazing experiences I’ve had over the last 4 years as I’ve begun to pursue singing professionally.  I’ve had the privilege of meeting and singing with many of Portland’s best musicians at some great venues and events.

Then…she asked the question…”When are you going to record a CD?”  And so, the adventure began.  I’ve got lots of notes and memories and pictures…and am looking forward to sharing them with you here.

I’d love to hear your comments!  Wishing you the very best,

Linda

Linda~ My goosebumps never lie and your voice has been giving me goosebumps since the very first time I heard you sing over twenty five years ago!! It’s been a magical journey watching you soar when you let yourself go and do what you were meant to do. Your voice is both beautiful and strong at the same time….just like you!!

You were born to sing! You could “carry” a tune before you could even say many words…..the melody was there before you knew “lyrics”. No surprise that you have such a captivating voice. I remember one wordless song that started as we backed out of the driveway and lasted until we arrived at Grandma’s house 3 1/2 hours later! Your brothers would keep asking you when the song was ever gone to end. Well, it never did….and we are so glad and proud of you. You have the voice of an angel…..keep the song going.
